I've got a 2006 RRS 2.7ltr diesel automatic. When the temperature drops below zero it will not start. Has anyone got or had the same problem. Very annoying having a 4x4 that does not start when it snows.
Ha ha, thanks. Unless you are already out in the snow lol.Its a safety feature so you dont get stuck in the snow
could be glow plug related

No other issues. When it does start usually when the temperature gets above zero then it works fine. If the temperature is about zero then there are no problems. Battery is brand new. Was told by a mechanic that the battery needed changing. It didn't.Hi. Any other symptoms, than won't start when below zero? Have you tried a new battery? Are the lights coming on but no tick over, tick over but no fire, dead from start to finish, will it start with a jump. How does it run when you do get it started? Have you changed anythi g before this started? Has it started previously when cold? What do diagnostics say?
Help us to help you , give some detail.

Is it spinning over trying to start or do you turn the key /push button and nothing.
Needs to go on diagnostics, could be glow plugs or a sensor.I've got a 2006 RRS 2.7ltr diesel automatic. When the temperature drops below zero it will not start. Has anyone got or had the same problem. Very annoying having a 4x4 that does not start when it snows.

The problem has not yet occurred this year. But in previous years.Tried asking those things. No response . Just the battery answer
I truly wish people would help us ( you lot, not me) help them.
Has it been cold in England yet? I left London in a virtually tropical 11° on Sunday afternoon. By the Midlands it was around 9°.

See. That's important information. Did you put diagnostics on in previous years? Did you check glow plugs, as suggested above, in previous years? What have you tried , in previous years,,etc. The problem has not yet occurred this year. But in previous years.
