Hi all,
I'm trying to track down:
P0098 (Intake air temperature sensor 2 circuit high input),
P0238, (Turbo/supercharger boost sensor A - circuit high)
P0108 Manifold absolute pressure/barometric sensor high input
P0069 Manifold absolute pressure - barometric pressure correlation
These have all started since I fixed the fuelling issue and are no doubt related to the fact I have disconnected and reconnected all the sensors and cleaned stuff....
I suspect (obviously) it is one or both of the MAP and MAPT sensors which may be disagreeing with each other. I have carried out an initial clean and re-sit of the connectors to no avail
I pulled the MAPT sensor (RH bank by the throttle body (4 wires) according to the manual " The MAPT signal is used to retard the ignition timing relative to boost pressure. The intercooler temperature is used for air charge density calculations and for intercooler diagnostic purposes."
The MAP sensor (LH bank rear of intercooler) (3 wires) looks different to the diagram in the manual as it has wires coming out to a connector (but the picture in the manual may be generic
The problem I have is the LR website part number for the MAPT is LR076019 which if you search brings a sensor with a single mounting point (one screw) mine has two which you can just see in the pic below the vacuum elbow - I'm not keen to make a speculative purchase of a MAPT from LR at a price well north of £120 - any ideas how I can test it - the car will start but not idle with it disconnected as I thought I could measure the outputs from it as it has 12v and earth pins and temperature and boost pressure - whilst I can connect it to a bench supply to see if I get any output - I can blow warm/hot air to check if the temp changes but no chance of pressure testing ?
Alternatively can anyone point me at a part that matches mine- For example if I find the matching part number on John Craddock it only has a single mounting bracket on one side - https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/lr076019-throttle-housing-sensor-4-2-v8-supercharged.html - which is wrong
I can't find a part number of the map sensor - or anything that looks like the one in my picture with 3 wires coming out - can anyone help if you have the same vehicle does the sensor look the same as attached? There is a mounting bracket for the connector so I suspect that this is as designed.
