Bulkhead Measurement

I am sure I have read on a thread some where that there is a set distance from the rear tub to the bulkhead when refitting. Can anyone tell me what this is and where the measurements are taken. ie (engine side of the bulk head or the door side)

Got any doors? The gap needs to be the same size as one of them if my memory serves me.

leave every thing loose till you have lined door gaps up you will need a bit of give in all parts to get them right

measure your doors and add 1/2" for your shut gaps, thats how I did it. My bulkhead has a 2 or 3 washers between it and the chassis outrigger to space it.

LR's (especially Series, 90/110 & Defenders) aren't built to high tolerences and measurements can vary from vehicle to vehicle. You need to loosely assemble it and then adjust it adding & removing shims (washers) as necessary until the panels align, doors open & shut cleanly etc.
