broken window cables

about two weeks ago the o/s front window cable broke wont go up so ive jammed it up with a lovely bit of mahogany. today my daughter went to put down the n/s front window (you know whats coming) crunching sound window didnt move took off the door card and surprise another broken cable . never repaired this type of cable system before so any help and advice would be most greatful cheers.

When you've fixed that take the other door cards off and lubricate the other cables as LR didn't bother.

hi mark2 thanks for the link very helpful. and dann ive just finished greasing the rear door and tailgate cables they were bone dry pity the factory didnt think to lube them from new. im going to try a kit i found on ebay the guy supplies stainless steel cables an assortment of end stops and strong adhesive with fitting instructions . type in freelander electric window regulator wire repair kit its 24.95 once ive given it a bash will let yous know how i get on. cheers

hi dewshi still to order the kit once ive done the job will do a post on it if you look on the guys ebay site there is good feedback from people who have used this kit . cheers
