Good people of Landyzone,

My cooling system bleed screw has decided to shear off whilst on route to Bristol. Currently waiting for RAC but all spares places are shut. Does anyone in the Bristol area have a spare one for a '95 Disco lying around or know of a spares place that is open tomorrow?

If you do please ring me on 07966265260.

Many, many thanks in advance, Bruce.

has it blown plug out of thermostat housing ,as its worth checking rad is hot all over core as it can be a sign of overheating due to poor rad brass replacement is best which can be bought as part or from plumbers merchants etc,as should be removed frequently to keep coolant level checked and topped up,if you do a search on here some bright people have already sourced suitable superior alternatives

Thanks guys. RAC here with noddy wagon (can't tow a 4x4), going to use a bolt to seal the hole. Should be ok to get us to Bristol. just the return journey to worry about.

course you can tow it just put tansfer box in neutral, thats whats neutral for even auto ,no drive through transmission then

thanks for all input. RAC man plugged hole with bolt and liquid metal so have managed to get to destination.

If anyone has a spare part in Bristol and is about tomorrow that would be great otherwise I shall be crossing my fingers and fix

You do realise that according to the date in the title you are not actually due to break down for another 28 days:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:, what you could do is get the part now, then when you break down you'll be all prepared;):rolleyes::rolleyes:

Time machine now being booked...

'Time share'...or was that déjà vu ...:D
