Brake light help

Hi there, have an intermittant problem with my brake lights working, the rear lights come on with the sidelights but not always when pedal is depressed? i presume the problem is the brake switch? having checked all connections visible. Does anyone know how the switch is accessed? many thanks

check what bulbs you have fitted, they should be twin filament stop and tail. if they are single filament, the contact crosses both contacts in the bulb holder and causes the problem you are describing.LEE

cheers mate but theyr LED so cant be that prob. Think its dodgy switch as theyr working agen tonite . Can you get to the switch from the engine bay?
