Hi guys , I'm struggling to find my brake switch location . All 3 stop lights do not work. I've changed all the bulbs but no luck . I took my car to the Landrover dealership as auto electicians were not available Friday afternoon . I was surprised they sgreed to put in my new switch . Car disappeared for 20 min , chap returned to say they still busy stripping the car , cut a long story short they couldn't find its location . Kid you not . Shining a torch up the brake pedal it's not there . Can anyone please send a link , advise or a picture. Thank you .

Hi guys , I'm struggling to find my brake switch location . <snip>.

Open the bonnet.
Locate the master cylinder and brake servo.
behind this is the brake pedal box.
On the back of this is the switch.
It has a plastic body and a brass nut with 2 wires/connectors.

The nut is a lock nut.
The switch is screwed in and then locked in position.
If you pull off the two wires and short/touch them together the brake lights should come on.

The switch isn't expensive (less that £10)
It can get gunged up and not close.
The wires can come loose/disconnected.
