now I know the diff between solid and vented disk but.............
just come to fit my noo solid disks on the front of my 300TDi and have found that the noo ones are about .55" (14mm) thick, but the old ones are about .44" (11.2mm) thick. I realise the old ones might have worn, but surely not that much? I looked at the landy bible and it sez "thickness = N/A" - huh ?
are there more than one type? I have feeling there is. I dont want to reassemble them and find the caliper wont fit. They are all Mintex bits.
