Got myself some new ones as the old ones are had it, rusted solid 😩
Do i fit them straight out of the box or do you clean off the 'grease' inside and put proper brake grease instead? (The red rubber stuff)

Twin cylinders on the front?
Your book says front and rear should be the same, my book says different and the part numbers match what I've got :D
I took them out of the boxes and now i can't remember which is which :p

Twin wheel cyl set up is for the front s on the 109, the slaves only have one piston compared to the normal two pistons.

Steves book says June 77 onwards, so series 3.

I've studied photos on eBay..
Definitely the bigger cylinder on the front, the part numbers match and difference is obvious
I've had them back to front.. like.. forever!!
Never had a braking problem though

pologies always assume everyone talking series 3 as that’s what I got, but agree, when you brake, need bigger brakes at front as load transfers to front and so you dont have rear wheel skids, my goal is to get all 4 wheels to lock up on gravel when I get my new wheel cylinders
