Hi all, along with my rear shock
absorbers going (changed a few days ago) it looks like I will need new pads and discs for the front, I had the rear ones changed last year, I have the chance to get drilled and grooved discs for the front at a reasonable price, but the rear has the normal smooth type.
Question is this, would it be ok to fit the grooved ones on the front and have the normal on the back? or is it better just to keep them the same as the back, many thanks for your help.

I'd not waste your money, as drilled/grooved discs wear pads faster, and wear themselves out faster too. The FL2 discs are large and not working hard as standard, so there's no need to fit 'performance' versions, which have a shorter life.

Just use quality standard replacements from Delphi, and you'll not go wrong. ;)

Normally drilled and grooved discs are used to help clear water from the disks. If that’s not a problem I will just put plain ones on cheaper and last longer .

Great thanks very much, I will do that.
