bout 6 litres for oil change?

as above is it 5.8 litres for a full oil change doing it in morning i have bout 7 litres here

4.9 i think!

i got between 6 and 7 in. Put 5 in, then top up bit by bit and keep checking the dipstick.

use a spirit level on rocker cover too for a true level.when full turn engine over allow to settle for 5 mins and check level again.

right i have put approx 5 litres in and the remainder of the stp should i start and just let run then check dipstick and continue till right?

with 5 litres though should be ok to take round block eh? its hard to say exactly what the level is with the new oil the dipstick just has a layer right down it clean it try again same thing wouldint like to say where exactly it is lol was about 6 came out roughly using the guide on the bucket

you need to fire it up to get the oil into the filter any way.So yeah, itll be fine.

right had it running for around 10 mins turned off will let cool down the dip again and repeat till right

Book reads engine +filter 6.5 litres

its bout three quarters on dipstick between low and full so ill add a little more later cheers

I just put 5 litres in, start the car to fill the filter (I prefill the filter anyway before fitting it) and check for leaks. Don't bother measuring it, just top it up to the dipstick "High" mark. The amount between Low and High is approx.1 litre
