'Oh please wont you buy me a White Range Rover' ha ha just been into that forum >>> legged it quick lol

Trouble is everyone will shout about a complaint ... but there are many people who get a really good one but dont shout about it ..... ;)

Yeah - Dont go

Dont go ?? What to look or buy or both .... Im even more confused now lol

Hoyt ,,, wasnt referring to you, you have indeed been very helpful ... thanks so much, it puts your mind at rest to just hear a few good things lol

Think it was probably me you were referring to.

For the past few years I have read on this forum (and others) that petrol Freelanders should be avoided at all costs. Every few days someone asks advice and then doesn't take it. My reference was to all the posts on here regarding the reliability of the petrol Freelander. My wife had a TD4 for 5 years and it was one of the most reliable vehicles we have had.
Had I been in the market for a petrol one and researched on here I wouldn't have went further than my armchair.

If you do decide to buy then I wish you all the best with it. :)

well, it says "deposit now taken" was it you?

in the photos on the website, in picture 4 it looks as if the front passenger door and wing are a different shade to the rest of the vehicle. I'm guessing it must be a camera / photo issue, otherwise you would have noticed a shade difference that big.

Wouldn't you ?

Good luck with your purchase, we're here to help in the future too, should you be unfortunate to have any problems with it. We've probably seen most problems on here and can probably solve a good 90% of them.

Thanks for taking the time for looking .... that is the photo ... had a really good look around the outside and the body panels all look fine....

Yes it is my deposit for viewing ... strangely enough they were all selling so quickly at the weekend, this one i found late on in the day so left a small refundable viewing deposit for the garage to hold for me to view and test drive 1st thing Monday .......

hi if you think it may have been in a crash then here is what to do check that the gaps down the sides of the bonnet and down the sides of each door are the same if they are not steer clear

I think every's getting prepared for a winter like last year and don't want to take any chances.

I have noticed there are more and more forecourts that have at least one 4x4 - normally a FreeLander.....

Well ................. Ive only gone & bought it lol .......

All seems fine, been looked after well by the looks of it ..... all the service history looks good, i even called a couple of the garages to check it out lol .....

No paint defects, (its pearlescent) defects, no body issues....

The letters have been replaced on the front, no sign of a bonnet change...

Not much else to report, had a great drive home in her so heres hoping ive picked a good one....Im sure I will be back soon for lots more Q's ... but many thanks to those who have taken the time to look at my post and reply .....
