Just want to pick a few brains out there, my mot is due next month and ive been doing the nessesary pre checks and repairs ready for the test and noticed that the front body mounts at the bulkhead both have stress cracks  now i have a 2" body lift and my sills were totaly shot untill the other week my question is would the lift and rotten sills played a part in the cracks?
heres a couple of pics so that you get the idea

you will probably find foot wells are rotten too

well i fitted my rock sliders the other week using heavy box section, and my footwells were relatively ok, only realy needing a little patch where the plastic bung/cover is for access to the body mount bolt, i know i can just weld it up, but would rather know what the underlying cause is,
just wandered if anyone else had came across the same problem,
and thanks again james, you always seem to be giving me advice latley! :clap2:

the only time ive seen cracking around there is when bulkhead is fairly rotten usually sills going doesnt effect front mounts ,but i suppose body lift might be your issue if body is now only supported on the mounts

My original thinking was its because of the body lift and the lack of support from the sills, im hoping that restoring some the rigidity back to the body that they arnt going to spread anymore, im gonna mark em and keep an eye on em for the next week or so, ill keep you posted ;)
