bobtail or not...

got a boot full of welding to do on my disco...just can't whether to bob-tail it though while i'm at it...

yup if its that bad then do it mate its really not had to do if you have a welder

due to lack of a garage, i think i'll wait til easter to start it when weather picks up a bit!!...(and days are a bit longer)...!

If it was just a bobtail with no other work then I reckon it would be doable within a week if you did a few hours every night,
was a little more work on my brothers with the amount of rot I needed to repair

took the floor out today, and its all rotten as fukk!!

onwards and upwards, taking shares out in rust stop tomorrow...

thinking of starting the bobtail at easter, with 2" lift as well...

can i take off the anti-roll bars and get it through an mot, some say you can, others say you can't, so not sure what to do with em...take them off all together or put them on for the mot...

I took the rear roll bar off and left the front. Mot'd fine

its confusing what you read hen your looking on here, some say you can't remove them and others say you can...

going for the bobtail, beer and bbq option over the easter week, WITH LOTS OF PICS...

i'd be tempted to do mine when it warrents it, the only thing that'd put me off is making a 5 door look decent - I always think they look a bit funny compared to the 3 doors!

mines a 5 door, and yes they don't look as good, but i just want fit for purpose...

the big question i need to ask now is...

do i need any sort of inspection on 'deefer', such as iva/sva?...i've tried to research this and now my heads a shed..!..

taking 'deefer' into the operating theatre on friday, for surgery...
