Warning just had RAC out told me dont use Palmers their bio is **** had loads of call outs to knackered pumps cause it aint filtered right

Never heard that of Palmers and know people who have used it for years.

Biggest prob is people not changing filters often enough and also as we go into winter running 100% bio not the best move. In winter 50/50 has seen me right. Apart from once when I didn't start mixing soon enough and suffer waxing.

add a gallon of petrol per tank when it starts getting cold - not that it's been properly cold here yet

It seems they had a bad batch the rac bloke said somat about glycerol left in it ?

Well, mine's been running fine off Palmer's stuff.....apart from a bit more effort to start.

Needs cranking for 10-15 seconds rather than instant start of Doozel.

Though they were shut this morning so stuck with expensive Doozel for now.

ok guys; bio desiel/concern. in the us bio is 20% veg oil soybean, problem old desiels 10 plus yrs old the injector and injector pump pluging up and the rubber seals in fuel system couldn't handel it. the newer went to senthic seals not a problem. don't know what your bio is like in uk? is the saving worth the expense of repair or replacemen parts?
