That's the number listed, though it's actually a steel cmpany.

The number on their sign says 0121 550 4500, which makes more sense as 550 is the Halesowen code. However, that number didn't work - said 'you have dialed an incorrect number'

Wasn't anyone there I could find this morning, so I asked around at the other units. Turns out the woman on the burger stand knows the woman that works there, so that's your place for info!!

I felt like a cheap cop film going up to a burger van and asking for information!!!!!


Anyway, they haven't been open all week - apparently trouble with their supplier....


I'm stuck with normal derv for now, but will keep checking.

Any one had anymore luck with Greener Fuels in Halesowen??

I haven't had chance to go past for a while, as I have to be late for work if I do - not very good idea for keeping your boss happy.

And the phone number still says 'you have dialed an incorrect number' !!

went up today and they where shut had to go to Palmers 89p/lt

As they always seem to be shut, and the phone number doesn't work.....I've emailed them at an address I stumbled across on the internet.


I haven't plucked up the courage to go to Palmers yet - I don't like places that only take cash and have a mobile phone number as a contact.....

If you go into EDIT and click on it, it brings up the details to change. If you click on the icon in the box it bring up a selection box.

It might be an idea to put the name in there as well.

looks like sum1 done it , dont know the name but i used that place regular when i had me pajero

ive accidently moved headtesters icon :doh: dont ask how cos i dont know and i dont know where to put it back

Palmers aint that bad it is a proper garage they do repairs they have a proper landline i will get it next time i go by there its 89p at the moment

Do you know what their opening times are?

I only pass on my way to Merry Hell, and it has been shut every time.

Are they really cash only as their signs suggest?
Could be embarrassing to fill up 90ltrs and only have Visa and 5p

I think they keep office hours 9.00 till 5.00 Mon to Friday and yes mate they only take cash not very convenient

OK a quick update....

Still no sign of Greener Fuels

Went to Palmer's Garage.

They DO take cards, but only for decent amounts of money (£30+) I suggested they changed their sign as it was putting people off.

Also, they are open 9 until 1ish Saturday mornings - again, suggested a sign might help !!

When I left there was a queue for the BioDeisel, so they seem to be popular!!

Glad you did Tim as for Greener fuels they will loose trade if they do come back people need to know when they are open ffs

The bloke at Palmer's said that Greener Fuels had packed up altogether - but as they're direct competition for each other, might wait and see to be certain.

The place certainly looked 'shut down' when I was there this morning.

Hopefully, they'll reappear soon. 75ppl is better than 89ppl but they're both better than 107ppl ;-)

BTW my disco is running fine on its first tank of Bio......must get a fuel filter soon so I'm ready when it needs it

I went past some place up brierley hill offering it yesterday at 75ppl

would that be on left after you come off the cinderbank island if it is take care i have heard bad reports
