Scaffold is your friend although you won't get it around a 30mm spanner.

That nut is a complete prick. I chopped it then knocked it odd with a punch. Although you've now got rear arms back in place to hold it. Have you been soaking it in wd?

Yup, Been giving it good soaking.

Won’t bother with scrappy then. See how I get on tomorrow.

Gotta fix my Megane first. Poxy French electrics !!!

I tried it myself that's how I know lol. You could always chop the box end off it though and then you will be able to get scaff pipe on it ;)

No ones mentioned heat have they? get it glowing orange and it will undo easy just move fast once it's hot! Or the nut will shrink and grab again

Lol ...... welder stops working when I release trigger......

Flamey stuff keeps going and I’m likely to burn the whole village down !!!

I tried soldering a shower pipe once..... set fire to myself

Got castle nut off ...... yayyyy

Wunt too bad.....few hits with chisel ...

Got n/s A frame arm off ...... still battling with o/s ☹️

I got the arm off at the ball end ,and jiggled the chassis end where the bolt was catching on exhaust bracket, and managed to pull bolt out.
I used 30mm spanner to get nut off. But looking at new bolts to go in..... nut is 27mm and dunno what size for bolt....it’s a bit bigger ...but not 30mm

I Need to do some googling

Cracked it.
Got nut loose, and bolt all free and moveable.
It’s still attached, but should pop out tomorrow.
