BGB-Storm et al, a plan for Sunday - Wales

Do we have a plan for our wee Sunday outing?

I'm in.
I think we can easily do Strata and Happy Valley in a day with some others as time allows.

Yup its in motion. Ive been planning routes this week. Aim onholiday though and I can't get away with hours in front of the puter but I have loads mapped out.

But now matts onboard I can leave the routes to him

I'll have a look at the best place to meet. Matt are we starting at the southern end of strata or in strata itself?

And are you guys going up the night before or doing an early start like me?

Start at the southern end near Beulah and head north. So we can either meet at Crossgates (nom nom nom) again or beulah itself.

I'll be there early Sunday.

Cross gates for breakfast sounds good. 8am again?

I need new UJ's and/or CV joints...just been to B'Ham airport and back and its clicking like an epileptic tap dancer...can't risk a run to Wales.

Also, did I see a post of urs about black smoke under acceleration. Mines doin it now, what do you suggest?

I think after this little wales outing ill be giving mine a little tlc.

black smoke is excess fuel.

so, either you have a small restriction in the air intake (dirty filter) or the fuelling had come up for some reason

any of you guys going to Billing? would love to tag along to wales this weekend but I've gotta drop my parents at the airport sat afternoon, you planning on anything local soon?

Will hopefully have a trip from the M1 (Lutterworth) to the A1 (Huntingdon) coming up soon. As soon as I find out which lanes are open and which are closed. (Santa Pod, Forty steps? etc etc.)

Still plenty of lanes to go out for anyway. If anyone fancies a trip to check some of them anytime. let me know.

As for Sunday I think it is still Crossgates cafe at 8am.

I've been keeping an eye on a thread on here about the santa pod one and looks like thats still closed even though theres no real reason it should be.

It seems Bedford County Council are not the most co operative councils. Although from what I read about them they don't have the most productive employees either.
