Hi,
My brother is looking for MT tires for his Discovery. Actually he wants BFG MT (we know they are brilliant...) but for some reason (we dont know why?) this are not available now in the place he live. Dealer offered him Yokohama Geolandar... Do some of you have some opinion about Yokohamas? How they are in the mud and on the road? Do they are long-lasting?
Thanks for any info

We've got Yoko's on a Shogun……road ones mind although when I was considering MT's I looked at them.

Went Maxxis instead as they offer a lifetime warranty on the sidewalls and I sliced two BFG's sidewalls up greenlaning so this was a good thing IMO

I'd just order the BFG in the sizes wanted and get 'em delivered!

Notaclue about Yok's, though many years ago we and Steve Taylor (then world champion) had the first 2 sets of Sidecar sized Yokohama slicks in the country, they sponsored us for a couple of years!

It depends on the tread block pattern. I believe that the Yokohama Geolanders come in a highway oriented pattern (H/T) and off road pattern (A/T). Both will give outstanding life span but the A/T pattern is the way to go if you are going to spend much time off the tarmac. The H/T pattern is ****e in mud. Both are decent in snow.
