Best paint for metal bits?

Hi All,

What would be your preference for the best paint for axles, brake drums and general metal bits.

Have used Hammerite before and in the areas where there is no likelyhood of stones impacting its has worked fine however I have found it chips quite easily.

Have been recommended a Polyester enamel however this is a 2 pack and requires special spraying, I would prefer one that can be sprayed DIY style or brushed on.

this stuff comes recomended.

you want to get yourself a one pack commecial paint. any auto paint suppliers stick ot, you can spray it on or brush paint it.
