Hi All,
has anyone got a torque figure for the two belt tensioners on the 4.4 engine? I've got the ones for the adjusting bolts ( 22 &18) but nowhere can I find a figure for the bolts that actually secure the tensioners to the block ( torx bolt on Electrical belt and 13mm bolt on air con). The replacement of these seems to have been left out of the w/s manual.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Saint,
I'll have a look at the TD6, - can't see why the jobs not in the w/s man for the 4.4 though as the ancilliary belt is held on through the pulley and all of mine had side play in them. If you think of anything else, I'd apprieciate it.

Nope - this is all I could find that mentions the Belt Tensioner Bolts...

Cheers Saint,
that makes 2 of us so I now know it wasn't just me being blind! By the way - thanks for the Rad article - using it at the moment, just thought while I was at it I'd check the pulleys.....

Saint, sorry for the late reply, yes the PDF was fine, I had the same problem as you - whole sections of the rad were weeping. Tensioners worked out OK in the end. Used a Socket and bar on the pivot to tension them, then locked up the adjuster bolt, then pivot bolt. Easier to get the tensioners compressed that way rather than using the spanner method in RAVE, too many angles and too short a spanner! Thanks again excellent.
