I was hoping for 2 views from the exact same spot so I am struggling to draw the comparison properly.
Clearly a river has overflowed its banks. What river is it?
Are the cars and the family all safe Keith?

The view is almost the same, the flooded one is just a bit to the left, the Gite is hiding behind the bushes in the dry picture. The rails are on my bridge across the river which is under water as is the road.
The oldies knew where to build, the house never floods even when as now there is over a metre of water over the island.
We are fine Dan, thanks for asking as are all the cars, they are on high ground in the back field.

Fine thanks Mark, floods are not that unusual in a water mill, the first time after I bought the house was scary though.
You could almost believe you were on a cruise looking out of the windows.

You need to get yourself an older series 1, 2 or 3 to go wading

The P38 wades us out no problems, water level is about mid wheel, we just tip toe through if we have to go out.
Otherwise i could use the tractor, it's a bit more refined than a series

Bet that was expensive turning your lawn into a lake..... hope your all fine

Hope your concrete is okay. Will save cutting the lawn
