Just been going through my BECM setting on my 1998 2.5 DSE and am confused with what some of them mean/do and should be disabled or not.

In the light, window menu
Window cancel = Disabled
Service light = Disabled

In the Options menu
Cat AMP/heater = fitted
Engine = late EDC
Wiper speed = Disabled
Cruise = Not set
Moister detect = Disabled

In the Alarm menu
Immobilizer = Disabled
Alarm = Disabled
EKA = Disabled

The main reason for looking here is an annoying message on the info screen saying, Catalyst overheat which when you read the owners handbook says as message suggests see Warning lights and in warning lights Catalyst - RED (Japan only)!!! wondering if Cat AMP/heater should be = not fitted.

Not sure about the alarm settings, have removed the RF receiver due to it flattening my battery and key fob never worked so may be why immobilizer disabled etc.

No errors stored other than in HEVAC something like circuit open current.

Should be "not fitted" as you don't have one in the first place. Hevac Compressor open circuit usually means there is not enough pressure in the system to close dual pressure switch. It needs at least 17 psi to work. Rest of them read the instructions in the download section of Nanocom site. That should tell you what you need to know.
