My airbox has arrived!!

ITG Stab 99 Maxogen.

4" intake and 3" outlet.

Now to fabricate a mount for it!

Also going to make a snorkel pre-filter attachment from an old Pipercross filter for use in extra sandy/dusty environments.

Few hours today fitting LOFs new big brake kit for 16" alloys. Quality is top notch, fitting was fairly easy but I wouldnt recommend fitting them as a novice, few tricky bits.

Had two disc hub bolts snap! One flush which was a pain!

Discs are leaps and bounds over OEM spec and a fair bit bigger.

Got to use my own brakelines which sped things up a bit but only because I have the Pioneer hardline replacements.

Clearance is tight! Will have to keep an eye when tyres get balanced!

100miles to bed in properly, then I can see how well the really stop! So far though super happy!

Also the only affordable big brake kit on the market, Bowler and Alcon do a set for 16s but a whopping £5k....

Set about fitting the ITG airbox today.

Im not 100% its watertight so this set up may well change, so everything is sort of temporary for now. Ill give it a go for a week or so and see how it performs.

Sadly painted in a rush and forgot to key. So the lacquer has not adhered properly! Very annoying!

I have been wondering why my mileage has dropped by roughly 30 - 40m per tank.

Had a smell of derv round the boot and discovered a pretty bad leak!

All that wet is fuel

Can just about see the kink in the fuel hose, number 8, high pressure feed. Had to be the longest, most expensive, most difficult to replace.:(

Cut the leaking hose out, found the culprit. Looks asthough one of the clips had come loose, letting the hose fall and rub on the chassis.

Ive done a temp fix with what I had laying around. Should hold for a week or so.

Then planning to repair with some 8mm brass compression barbed fittings. Some fuel resistant sealant and some braided EDPM hose in the middle. Which should be a more permanent fix.

Been busy!

New much larger air box from Wrecker Fab with an ITG 300tdi filter. Just about fits! Should supply all the air the VNT could ever need.

Copper toned of course :D

Checked the VNT over as well, 8k miles later still spot on.

Properly repaired the leaking fuel line with some compression fit barbs and new braided fuel line.

Fixed the derv heater so it works now, no more cold mornings!

Fixed the storage draw, the runners had failed. So much for 90kg heavy duty
Replaced with 150kg ones.

Welded a new plate in on the middle xmember. Had rotted away a fair bit! Coated heavily with WAR

Also fitted a CSI Fan Washer Jet - Expensive but what a huge difference! Should be able to clean the whole screen now without issue :D

Few more bits but coming along.
