Bad road handling

Hi My mates disco not good on road handling wen you drive it on road and you hit bump it swayes all over the place like your on a boat there is no ace just roll bar it is a 04 plate
my disco has ace and sticks to the road like glue
any body know how to sort it

I'm sure a lot of owners in the forum can let you know how to "sort it" but can you let us know what's wrong first, cristal balls are in short supply at the moment.

new gas shockers and std hieght h/d springs ,check all bushes and ball joints as well

Is there a swivel pre load issue like on D1/rrc ? Anyway,there have been quite a few threads over the last 6 months over wheel wobble/steering/stability (including my own witless ones!) so I would suggest a search. One of the posts has a link to a site that covers the whole subject step by step on a D1....so IF there is a mechanical similarity (I know VERY little about D2) then that will certainly be a big help to you !

And tell us where you are and what vehicle in your signature setting and save us having to ask ! That way if theres anyone close they may be induced to swing by and help with the right inducements,varying to taste....tea,cake.....coffee,fags......beer and more beer....porn.....

quite an imformative piece mr shocker,words are better with pictures,although hitting end of steering arm with hammer is a better way of removing ball joints,without damaging gaiter or joint
