So what things on your motors(landy or otherwise) are a bad idea and shouldnt be on any cars/landies?
Ill start things off by saying the wing mirrors with indicators on.When its dark they are very visibel and draw your eye to em when you should be concentrating on the turn your indicating for and expense to fix if yer break em.

those fekkin led strip sidelights you see on beamers n mercs they look crap distract others and i bet theyre a fookin nightmare to get replaced if broken by a stone or something

the back end of the rover 75 pees me off aswell its 8" narrow to the rest of the vehicle meaning the lights dont show where the edge of the vehicle actually is especially with the foglights on

on a better note id like to congratulate ans award the man who designed the front seats for the austin montego and maestro as he designed them with the velvet centre wich was great for riding womens skirts up when they were driving giving us landy and white van men something to look at when on the way to work in a morning:D:D:D:D:D

Electrick handbrakes. Why?

And lights that think they are more sensitive to available natural light and driving conditions that the human eye. Why?

And wipers that come on full blast in broad sunlight but you get torrential downpours and nothing. Why?

Yup, i drive a frog mobile!!!

Challenge trucks of offroad prepared landys with standard or lower than standard tow points

I'll add to this actually, The above with sticky out front & rear bumpers winches whatever. You can spot a non competition or bull**** motor a mile off!

Road Tax discs. The requirement to buy one annually or every six months should be scrapped. The money is inevitably siphoned off by the government to allow tax exiles to breed.

Should I become a tax exile of course I wish to take advantage of the allowance. ;)

immobilisers.... we had a megane where the delay after unlocking the doors was far too short...do anything other than unlock jump in and start the engine and the immob would cut in ... so such a pain in the butt we got shot of the car

stupid adaptive headlights. twice I've watched a new peugeot come round a roundabout, as it indicated right, so the right foglight came on, then as it indicated left, so it changed over. load of cock.

rear fogs, especially when in a line of cars the dick in front decides you might not see him and turns em on.then leaves em on for a fortnight, they was a good idea in the seventies when you could meet a car on its own on the m way,now traffic is nose to tail everywhere theres no point, and if landrover can fit a switch that cuts out when you turn the head lights off why cant everyone else
