Axle help

Hi all,
Hope I can get some help from somebody with some front axle things.
I have a 90 with a front axle stamped 22L, to my understanding this is a 10 spline axle, anyway this axle is soon to be replaced with one I have removed from a 1996 Disco1 300tdi ES model it also had ABS and solid front disks.
I have began to stip down the brakes as they are rusted and seized, while doing so I noticed that the swivel balls are different, 1 is shiney chrome and the other is dull rusty like.
Is the dull one been a replacement and will it be ok to use? ( no leaks )
I looked in at the top king pin and found that a couple of the roller bearings were not located in the correct seat and worn flat.
So with this findings I have began to look for some replacement parts but noticed that there are lots of different parts listed for different chassis numbers.
I was looking to find the stamps on the axle but so far I have found nothing,
Are they all stamped in the same place?
The bottom king pin is 16mm diameter, ABS sensor through the top one which I won't need so will a non abs king pin kit be the same?
Also there are some long rectangular steel bars on the bottom king pin held on with 2 countersunk torx bolts, Are these required for anything other than the disk cover shield?

I hope this all make sense and somebody can tell me what axle I have and recommend a parts supplier who will sort me out

later balls wernt chrome but grey teflon coated ,either fits ,bottom pins are all the same disco or defender bearing is 606666 ,you dont ever need to remove bottom pin ,you need to use abs pin in abs axle, as abs use early def chrome ball ftc5105 and non abs disco use frc7065 just bung hole and buy new pin and bush/brg kit

Ok I think I have it now, I. Found a full swivel kit containing all this:
DA3166P Consists of 1x 606666 Roller Bearing, 1x 571752 Drive Flange Gasket, 1x FTC3401 Swivel Seal, 1x 571755 Swivel Seal Retainer, 1x FRC2883 Shim, 1x FRC2884 Shim, 1x FRC2885 Shim, 1x FRC2886 Shim, 1x FTC3646 Gasket, 1x FTC3648 Gasket, 1x FTC3276 Seal, 1x FTC5268 Seal, 1x FTC125 Housing and Bush, 1x STC3435 Grease
- for £18+vat which is just a bit more than for the top pin and bearing from same supplier.
