I'm going camping with the misses in a couple of weeks and seeing as the British summer time is due to finish at the end of this week I'm thinking of getting an awning so I can cook sausages whilst it rains constantly without the fear of them drowning.

I've got a 110 county and done a quick search on fleabay but there doesn't seem to be much stuff coming up apart from full blown ex-military tents or an overpriced bit of tarp!

Wondered what you people have got if you use an awning?

Not looking to spend a fortune like as I'll only use it when camping.

Cheers, J.

And whats wrong with Military tents;):D. I use an Oz tent Fox wing. Up in seconds it the dogs naggers:D

Try searching for a Caranex - they also advertise in the back of the LR mags - I shouldn`t think they are that cheap secondhand on any specialist sites but you might strike lucky somewhere like ebay or gumtree

I'm hoping to make my own for around £30 in the next few weeks.
