Finished work today jumped in the disco ready to drive home put it in drive and wouldn't move almost like it didn't have enough power to move when it eventually moved it felt like it was jumping gears. Looks like ill be changing the oil and filter in the box tomorrow see if this solves it

I checked the fluid level and was ok but looked pretty dirty. Put it in low range and it moved then put it back in hi and was better but seems like when it warms up its fine so guess the oil gets thinner when warm so flows better. Parked it up last night and didn't use it today and don't think I will till I get the time to change filter etc

if tis mucky, change it, gear oil/ATF is pretty temperature stable unless it overheats, when it overheats, to goes brownish and can smell burnt, once overheated its stability is not as good as it should be.
