Just checked my atf level following the procedure of engine running, cycle thro gears etc etc but had a shock when plenty of oil came out of the level plug, I was expecting the opposite. Can too much fluid damage and how is it possible to overfill? ??

Easy to get it wrong when filling and not let the level stabilise.

Do it by the book, it won't hurt to have a small excess, there's a fair bit of air space in there.

was it warmed up to normal working temperature then?... cos if not you missed that from the procedue
.... so +1 for what Peter said.... do it BY THE BOOK.... not by other advices;)

I think you'll find RAVE says do the oilchange on a cold engine engine.

:5bbanghead::eek:...you are right, my head is too full of different informations and i mixed the filling procedure with the stall test without double checking ... i reformulate.... "Was the gearbox cold then?":D

my apologies

but i 100% sustain to do it BY THE BOOK:)
