As if my and my dads landies have oil leaks !

as above our landys have leaks of oil......whats all that about :doh:

i didnt no land rovers leak... well apart from the sun roof, sunroof winder, windows haha

just a little laugh haha

my 2ootdi disco is leakin from transfer box to gearbox !

and dads td5 disco 2 is oil filter haha

LAND ROVERS YOU'VE GOT TO LOVE THEM

If a landy ain't leaking oil of some sort there's probably somthing wrong with it

i think it there automatic anti corrosion system:hysterically_laughi don't seem to work very well though.

the oil filter is an easy one just replace it with a new one but wrap the new one with a bit of tinfoil for winter wich will keep the road salt from corroding it
the transfer box i aint got a clue about but if its just a drip now and again it should be alright just keep an eye on the level
another common one on the discos is the rocker cover gasket wich is cheap quick easy and cheerful to fix yerself

i wish the tfb was a little drip it isnt so its in garage on tue to get sorted !!! goin to seal it a mate has done loads so will let him do it haha

I've had three landys so far and they have all transferred oil from the gearbox to the transfer box. Its not so bad on the series as both run in EP90 but on the disco, one has ATF and the other EP, does this do any damage???
