im contemplating trading mine in for one now !

problem is... a 2007 TDv8 is going to look older than my 2002 from the outside :eek::eek:
 
If you want true class there was a very low mileage classic mentioned on here earlier today. A really smart classic is much ,more of a head turner than a modern Rangie.

Not being as rich as Hippo, I use the RSW All Comms (Around £230)

Hippo has the much coverted Faultmate Extreme from Black Box Solutions (£1000+)

You also have the choice of the Gap Diagnostics IIDTool or the Bearmach Hawkeye....both around the £300-350 mark (IIDTool maybe a tad cheaper)

I also use an ELM327 OBDII data logger for live data capture on the engine...cheap and cheerful but has helped me look at the Lambds which I think Bank 2 is playing up :eek:

well yes... mine has been facelifted.

so a 2007 would look the same if i put the supercharged grille on it.

problem is i have done a 2011 facelift to the rear of mine...

fitted 2011 LED lights, exterior design pack bumper and twin exhausts all off the latest 2011/2012 model..

so a 2007 from the back would look older than my current...


ill just have to do what saint says... put my current bits onto the new one.

but wont be able to re-fit chuckie bits..

so will probably scrap mine and strip the parts .

.. that shall be a sad day :(

Thanks I will look into the all comms, does it have the ability to reset faults

Yep the All Comms, reads and resets faults and Recalibrates the Air Suspension (Which the Hawkeye doesn't do btw)....

The Faultmate and the IIDTool etc have the ability to change additional parameters (the faultmate will do the full schhbang) whereas the All Comms is just a diagnostic Fault Code reader and resetter, EAS Recal, and a few minor setting twaeks....

Comes from America...and well worth the wait...mine was recieved in 12 days, with 3 days of that sitting in customs prior to final delivery...I paid £16 for the import/customs charge.

+1 to that. When me and a buddy drove through France. Him in his L322 and me in my Classic. It was the Classic that drew all the crowds.
 
Thanks for that I'll have a little read up on it. Sounds like I'm gona need it, even after quite a few faults u guys still have yours lol so they must be worth it ha well maybe

Well worth it...yes they will test your paitience and your Bank Managers...but they are trully awesome vehicles...this is Range Rover No.6 for me and I wouldn't have anything else...

That long? You can't be serious:rolleyes: Last time I looked at the JD Power survey, Range Rovers are one of the most unreliable cars during the warranty period so it can only get worse.

I suspect they will better, better engines than the BMW units they replaced and better electrics than the BMW 7 series based stuff they replaced.
