I have just fitted some 55mm wheel spacers to my v8 90 and it handles really well, just wondered if anyone else had and if there are any problems to watch out like wheel bearing issues etc...

I was kinda thinking it may possibly have issues, have you had no bearing problems at all with the 35's?

I've been running 55mm aluminum spacers on my 95 Discovery for close to 10 years without any issues. Both on road and off-road.
My feeling it that the hub bearings are plenty large enough to handle any extra strain.
I installed all new brakes a year or so ago and replaced all the hub bearings at the same time (6 of the 8 were original) and saw no out of the ordinary wear on them.

Thanks very much antichrist you have put my mind at rest, I really only put them on to make it a little more stable as we have two young children that we take out. So I fitted a full roll bar and thought the 55's should help. Brilliant!
