Td5/Puma wheel bearings normally have a spacer between the bearings unless they have been converted to the old adjustable style. But in the last few weeks I've had two Defenders, one Td5 and one Puma, both with one wheel with no spacer at all. Anyone else ever come across this? Neither vehicle had any apparent issues

seen it a few times, it normally munts the stub axles wears out the seal land etc.
The spacers are a better design for pre load, but a PIA practically unless you have a set on the shelf which most if us dont lol.
So you can end up with axle in bits while you wait for the postman etc.

Yeah luckily I have a good quantity of pretty much everything Td5/Defender/Discovery on the shelf! (well quite a few shelves 🤣 🤣 )

I was just surprised there were no apparent running issues. The stub didn't look great but it was borderline whether to reuse it
