Hi Guys,

im slowly getting my car minted but have been trying to come up with ideas to sort the grubby door pillars. You know what i mean i'm sure. The fluffy stuff has come off in areas and its all dirty and just does not look good. I head of one guy covering the pillars with leather which im sure would be nice but a bit pricey and time consuming.

Anyone got any ideas or experience?

Cheers

Chris

I've been thinking about doing this too... I was thinking about how to remove the old flock, but more so about removing the actual trim without busting the clips- is there a correct way to remove them? if not where can you get the clips from?
somebody somewhere must a write up on this ????

ive done mine, flock removed and left as plastic, better for me as i have a 5yr old, and my sisters 3yr old!!!

to remove the trims just pull at the a pillar ones b pillars you need to remove seat belt anchors. c pillars, i can't remember bu i'm sure i just pulled em.

now, wait till her indoors is outdoors. chuck em in the dishwasher and put it on the pan setting. catch it tho before the drying cycle as it may warp them!!!
