Was driving round bournemouth the other day with a boot full of golf clubs and 3 sarcastic mates in my Dhse, when for apparently no reason at all the sunroof opened of its own accord.
I pulled up and tried the switch but nowt happened. At this point the sky had an air of storm about it, which had my mates amused no end. Fortunately I'd read the manual and found the manual key to shut it and it hasn't worked since.
Wondering if anyone out there has had similar probs. Will check the fuse box at the weekend, any ideas or similar stories always welcome

Cheers

Andy

when you use the manual method it will lock off the leccy mech, fully close it then half a turn towards open should put it in leccy mode again, as for the switch, it could be switch pack or connections also check becm connections under seat. could one of yr mates nudged it with thier hoof?

Thanks for the reply, will give those things a try. Theres a possibility one of the clowns knocked it, they were sliding about quite a bit in the back( slippery seats!!)
cheers

Your Rangie is obviously newer than my old classic but my leccie sunroof has a habit of working only when it wants to. Sometimes it works fine for ages then it will just stop. Leave it a while (a couple of days or weeks even) and it will work again. It just seems to be "one of those things" but a right nuisance when you want to close it and it decides to have a hissy fit.

try getting em child seats in the future or bind, gag and throw them in the boot!

cheers guys,
The boot was my first option but then where to put the golf clubs!! Not a problem now done my bit of driving its the others turn to drive next!!
Sorry to be useless but where is the becm box?
Cheers

look under the drvers seat, you might have to pull the carpet/cover back a little. check all the connections are tight, also you may need to remove em and clean em up. get your eka code first though as you may need it(ive never took my connections off before so not too sure) also entering the eka code i have found can sort a few niggles out from time to time, whether directly or indirectly i dont know but i did it when the alarm/central locking wasn't locking properly and it sorted it!
