4.0l v8 p38.

Had the wagon over a year and it has been fine, replaced radiator which was original and had a small hole in it, and a couple of hoses which had been damaged by an eejit using plyers to remove them!! not me!! last year. It has not lost any coolant and has a clean red antifreeze mix with no oil in tank or water in oil and no loss of coolant or steam out the back.
Temp guage sits right in the middle and has never gone above there! Hoses get firm but not hard and heater gets hot and engine seems to be on all bores!
was bled using rave proceedure to the book and letter and filled slowly!
heres we go.... but i do notice a stream of small bubbles from the tube that runs from the rad to the expansion bottle AT IDLE ONLY if i lift the revs even slightly they go and it doesnt rise the water in the tank. this is the same both hot and cold.

I had it sniff tested and all was ok no rise in Hydro carbons. This symptom has been the same and got no worse for over a year with the rangey being used in hot and cold weather it dont get hot in static traffic either.

Is there, a Nothing to worry about its normal?

b, trapped air still and it needs excluding?

c, cavetation of water in the pump and its just self bleeding.?

d, time to buy the diesel sport i saw the other day and spend some cash?

e, im just being paranoid as it is common for the water system to cock up?

your thoughts?

If its been like it for so long, in all weathers and under all driving conditions, chances are its just normal expansion and venting from rad to expansion tank. You've done all the checks - don't open the bonnet any more, just drive it from petrol station to petrol station and enjoy the drive in between.
