This is obviously a cunning plan to build a new car round the steering wheel!

yup,yer mad.:D:D

Completly normal.

Unless you have atleast half rebuilt your landy you are not a true Land Rover enthusiast :)

:bolt:

No, you are as totally normal as any other RRC owner & I speak as someone that's had four of them! Now having done all that, make sure that you concentrate on preserving the structure, otherwise your efforts/£ will all be in vain as more Classics go the nacker's yard due to rampant corrosion than for any other reason. In this imperfect world RRC mechanical/electrical parts are plentiful but most body repair panels are becoming like rocking horse sh.t

Well matey when I have paid for my autobox I will be up to 2k and could only sell it for 1k on a good day so we must both be loopy.

When you do scrap it can I have all those new bits for mine:D

Nah seriously when you crusing down the coutry lanes with the v8 rumbling away its all worth it!

Got any leads!

Nope.
Got to get some tomorrow for the other halfs pug.
Plus the rest of the usual stuff. Just found out that the center electrode isn't there.
Only found out cos we hit a lake (large puddle) and had to get the AA out. First time ever

We had some floods today when we went out to a country pub , glad I was in then rangie and glad it didnt break down too!

So was it just jumping down into the dizzy , or did it fall off when he pulled it out and now its in yer drive gear ready to cause more probs?

With a Put TU engine there is a cover plate (like the Rangie). Nothing there whatsoever. So it ust have been jumping. It ran quite smooth before hand, which is scary.
