Already found a Useful Answer!!

Hi Y'all.

Back after 2 years, having previously sold the wife's defender when the sprog arrived for a sensible D3, I am now in posession of a '98 Mk1 Disco 300tdi just for fun!!!!!!

Thanks to this site I've already 'fixed' the Diff-Lock using the brute-force method and ordered an EGR removal kit with top hose.
