Hi I have need of a new aerial base my freelander has GPS built in ,is it possible to fit a standard aerial base as I am not bothered about using the GPS,just my radio.

Yes just get a new non GPS aerial base
However you'll also need new coax from base to radio as the GPS lead is different

It's easier just to fit the correct base. The cost difference between the two types is negligible. When you factor in changing the coax and the additional time that takes, the standard base works out more expensive.
