Hi again. Following on from my previous post about rats having been in the car while we were away, I think I have found the damage. Bear in mind this is a LHD car.
It appears that 5 or 6 wires in the loom have been chewed which is causing my 3 amigos problem. The location of the damage is on the right hand side of the passenger footwell, just below the base of the A pillar, if that makes sense. A couple of the wires are easily accessed but there is more damage higher up.
I would hate to think that the entire dash has to come out to gain access! Does anyone with prior experience know, if I remove the passenger airbag, would that give me access, to the right, to the base of the A pillar? Also, is it possible to remove the heater assembly that's in the passenger footwell, without removing the dash? This may give me access to the damaged loom.
Thanks in advance.

All I know is that you can't remove the heater assembly without taking the dash out.

That's why my heater matrix has been leaking for over a decade.

Whether you could access those wire if you could, I don't know.
