Adding new key remote

What's wrong with the old key?
Have you attempted to have the damage key repaired? There is a specialist on another forum who can replace the batteries and casing to restore the key fob.

Oh and non engine questions are best asked in the Freelander section of the forum, rather than this lower traffic engine section sub-forum.
