Disco 1 Absolute madness!

Hi all, just recently had the Disco repaired after someone slid into the side of it. Mud tyres, in the snow braking downhill....

Fortunately it was all his fault anf the insurance covered it all, including a hire car. However, when I received a copy of the invoice the garage claimed ot cost them over €4000 to repair including a new rear panel @€1000, bought from the UK. What?

Does anyone have a source for Tdi 300 panels so I can check the prices?

That's about right according to the attached link which could be a few years old, they were luck to find one I would think.
I don't have a source for V8 panels so there's no hope for a Tdi if u believe their different, u could Google the part numbers in the link.
