Hi mate thanks for the message but I think its sorted now with the replacement battery. I will keep an eye on it. Bloody things!
It was a battery I had bought brand new and it arrived faulty, I always suspected it was a bit crap but it wasnt to bad for a few months until the really cocld weather set in and then it just went awful. Its hard to convince people though that the battery is **** on a P38 as they just think its the P38 rather than the battery. I got halfords to test it for free int he end and they gave me a print out saying it was rubbish and needed replacing.
