I thought about giving you a call to see if you were about today, but not sure my stitches will tolerate too much bouncing around, especially as I got a fair trip to make tonight.

I didn't know you had stitches or that you had a fair trip to make.. sounds like you havinf either too much fun or nowhere near enough..

but you're right, stitches don't like bouncing..

Amicable stab wound eh Boomer!!;):D:D:D

How long before they're out?

Ha Ha.
  • Plenty of fun being had. :D
  • Stab wound was by scalpel, under local anaesthetic. :p
  • Not sure if I should have used the word 'bouncing'
  • Stitches out in about 10 - 14 days hopefully.
  • Yes, things are still amicable :p

be forewarned...... when i ploughed up the road with my chin - the most painful part was the removal of the stitches - mainly coz the nurse couldnt differentiate between stitches and stubble!!!!.

depends what type of stitch they use.. when I had my first hernia done they used one long stitch with a bow in it.. cut the bow and it pulled straight out with no discomfort.. second time round they used a series of little stitches and every one pulled like a bitch on the way out and hurt like hell...

Given the location of my stitches I am now looking forward to PAIN.....
Bastids :p

True, but...........

'Is that some molegrips in yer pocket or are you just pleased to see me?'

Doesn't have the same ring to it, does it??? :D

:D:D:Dsnigger:D:D:D

I went out to a guy with a pick-up truck that wouldn't start the other day. :)

He caught his wedding ring on his tipper body a couple of weeks ago and ripped his finger completely off.:eek::eek::doh:

They sewed it back on but it didn't take so had to be removed again.:(

Another reason for me NOT to get married.:p:p:p

It was a well known hazard in the aircraft industry with peeps walking on the wings - a few people slipped and put their hands out to save themselves sliding off and a ring caught on a rivet head and either stripped the finger or ripped it off .
