Most may know this but heres a few landrover tricks iv found on a recovery page may just help you out at the roadside...

Towing a p38..put a fuse bigger than 5amps in fuse 11 by the drivers seat...transfer box will select neutral.

Towing a l322 rangerover..in the glovebox fuse panel..locate the empty fuse slot that says towing and fit a 25amp fuse. Transmission is now in nuetral and autos can be towed.

Discovery 3 handbrake stuck on or screaming..
Remove the plastic panel behind the park brake switch. Disconnect the park brake switch and pull the looped steel cable very hard. This releases the park brake and prevents damage to the module.

D3 showing hdc inactive and park brake fault at the same time..
Start the engine and run for about 5 mins. Switch off and restart the engine turn lock to lock and 9 times out of 10 the faults dissapear.
L322 same as above.

D3 fog lights and rear parking sensors not working. If it has a tow bar fitted there's a little plastic pin in the 7 pin plug. Just give it a poke and prod and the contact will be remade 9 times out of 10.

L322 cuts out and low ratio light flashing 3.0td....25amp fuel pump fuse in the os boot panel possibly blown. Easy fix. New fuse

L322 radio wont tune in when the rear demister is on..ns boot panel find the aerial amplifier module and check the connection. Bet its wet

Jaguar s type electric handbrake removal with a jump pack..
Remove o.s boot panel. Locate handbrake module (only one in there) unplug it and on the plug is 2 definitive thick wires. Power them up using the jump pack. The wires are reversible polarity. One way puts the brake on switch em round and wind the motor off. Plug it all back in and job done. 5 mins work

Hope this may be of use to someone
