Today i have taken off the EGR and replaced it with a blanking plate and new hose.

What do you do with the electrical connection - I have moved this out of the way somewhere dry hopefully, and what do you do with the vacuum hose - I have folded the flexi bit over on itself and tied it up with a cable tie.

Thanks for looking.

There was a lot of awful ****ty black gunge in the inlet manifold, I got as much out as possible but I think it's going to be a manifold off jobby.

I know this is about as useful as tits on a fish to you but I have the same question.

I'm planning on putting a second battery behind the passenger side front lights later in the year but this gubbins is in the way. I hope you get an answer, otherwise I'll let you know if I find anything out

electrickery bits tie them back out the way, which it sounds like you already done

the breather, i inserted a screw coverer in silicon an tucked it up out the way,
works fine, well i think it does coz i haven't had any problems yet!

an as for the black ****ty stuff you really need to clean the intercooler out with petrol, haven't done mine yet, an i took mine off about a year ago,
still not had any probs yet.

hey guys, think i did mine wrong, all i did was put the plate in the middle of the egr and the manifold and bolted everything back on. anyways, lost all engine oil and ceased it up 25miles down the road. do u think it was because of the egr blanker ??? or is that just a co-insidence.
