a couple of pointers please

hi there,
i have the opertunity of purchasing an lwb series 2 or early 2a, i have been sent a few pictures to prick my interest, and i would please like help in what to look at to see if it is worth buying as a project, i can see the corner caps of the bulkhead are rotten! where else should i look? chassis and footwells i know about,

please any help in avoiding a total money pit would be great,

If the corners of the bulkhead are rotten, then i would have a good look at the chassis, out riggers ect.

are there any parts that are a bitch to source and as such, look out for the state of?

The corner caps of the bulkhead being knacked is a bad sign, money pit is a possibility.
The bulkhead is the worst bit, give it a thorough examination and take a magnet to check for clag where there should be metal.
Might also be good to check the engine to see if its original, if the owner consents its also good to do a compression test, I've done this a couple of times.
