  • Before you fit the XUD beware that a lot will tell you its not good enough, that said the non turbo version pulled post office vans all round the country for years.
There is a conversion plate that fits the peugeot 2.3 diesel to the landy box I think this is the same as the XUD however do some research to make sure, also might be worth looking at the perkins prima adaptor that might be similar.
When I was thinking of using the pug I was gonna do away with the 4wd at first and just use the landy rear axle with a ldv pilot van rwd gearbox and engine, this is an option if you like it, check up on the axle ratios first though.
Your probably better starting a thread, I check messages rarley I stumbled on this one and theres a wealth of knowledge on the board and most of the peeps are sound, loosers dont drive series landys.
    Hi dr pepper!
I own a series 3 88" and have had so many ideas and plans that constantly change according to what mood im in! I've been looking at lots of conversion topics on the subject, and your name seems to crop up in most of them, so i thought i'd come straight to you! I have decided to put my sensible hat on, and go for economy and reliability. I have a mint running 1.9 xud pug engine, and i wondered if you knew of anywhere that makes a conversion plate etc, any info would be welcome! Thankyou in advance! :)
