So in theory a two tonne discovery where the weight of the vehicle doesn't change and the difference in power to weight of both the tdi diesel engine compared to a small petrol engine and given the short life span of the petrol engine over the 10 year life of the very successful tdi engine which would still be manufactured if not for the tree huggers emission controls but is very much alive and well in brazil and in a 2.8 litre flavour therefore must show beyond reasonable doubt that in fact the 2.0 mpi engine was indeed ****e.

I think you are right.

But remember, Global Warming is a world-wide SCAM.
It is one of the biggest frauds ever perpetrated in human history.

It serves two main purposes:

1. it enables governments to levy even more taxes on gullible people in the name of being green and trendy, so governments can waste more of our money by giving it to banana republics with which to buy weapons to kill each other and in some cases to kill us and our military people.

and, (and this is the REAL reason)

2. a small number of people in USA and UK and Euro-land are getting VERY VERY RICH on global warming trickery and stunts.

No-one has yet explained how extra taxes cut down so-called pollution.


What do goverments do with these extra taxes?
We (UK) are giving AID to Somalia while their government is complicit in the biggest industry in their country - PIRACY on the high seas, and taking hostages to hold to ransom for millions. I know where I would be sending our sailors and soldiers and airmen next.

We were giving aid to Pakistan flood relief, and their government lambasted us for not giving enough, while Pakistan was paying BILLIONS to buy warplanes and armaments. It was BILLIONS of our money and USA money they were spending, but they didn't have any cash to help their own people.

Remember too, when CO2 levels rise in the atmosphere, EVERY PLANT AND TREE ON THE PLANET GROWS MORE QUICKLY AND MORE STRONGLY.
So, more CO2 in the atmosphere is one way to grow more food and trees.

More food means more people will breed.
That means more starving people than ever in every year to come.
Madness.
One thing is sure - nature will sort this out, one way or another, and nature can be very cruel.

Well this is a very very big subject and for one I feel incredibly upset at having to pay £460 for my road tax.
As with every recession nobody expects it or sees it coming but we should always understand that nothing ever stays the same.
So to try and convince us that the temperature of the earth will be constant for millions of years is the same as saying the earth is also flat.
It's funny how the enviro-mentals go quiet when we have ten feet of snow land upon us.

i dont see how anyone can claim road tax is a green tax...... scrap it in its vehicle based form and add it to fuel duty so the more you use the vehicle the more you pay and youve arguably got a green tax , it would benefit those of use who chose to run more than one vehicle....and stop all the coil sprung series 3 tax exempt scams...

At £1.40 odd a litre, I think we're paying more than enough in fuel taxes, thanks.

what i dont get is that the new disco4's/rangeys are more freindly to the enviroment but they pay 500-600 quid a year road tax, but old oil burners that smoke like f*ck pay less road tax??? wtf

Simply because they are not electric and the old communist government hated range rovers unless they were driving them.
Remember everyone is equal but some drive two jaguars.

quite simply if you can afford to buy a newer more expensive car youre likely to have a bit more for them to extort as road tax

On the warming thing, I was told, so maybe sh*t, but man may only be responsible for 5% of the total co2 and methane production of the planet, so I am guessing old leaf springs are not going to cut it by much...lol.

fookin tempted tbh better part of £400 a year for maybe 1 sunday a month on average
if they brought back the rolling tax exempt mine would be eligible next year

did they make a 90 that falls into the tax exempt category, if so could you add a defender chassis and keep it tax exempt.

150% Correct CharlesY.
It was perpetrated by a gentleman caulled Maurice Strong, who was tasked by his 'bosses' the UN ( a hugely corrupt and poisonous organisation ) to come up with a 'common enemy' that the entire population would readily buy into, and that was almost impossible to argue against in an emphatic manner ( this is all on record by the way.. )
and his 'answer' was to develop the 'menace' of Global Warming / Environmental' bollocks

Its estimated that between 2012 and 2015 .. three TRILLION pounds will be 'spent' on combatting Global feckin warming ... want to find out the truth ? follow where that money goes !

That arse AL GORE ( wherever you see HIM involved .. look diametrically opposite to find the 'reality' ) and his so called 'inconvenient truth; .. have presented the story completely arse about face ... when the planet warms, ( which is DOES .. courtesy of Solar Winds, which are cyclical, and do this exact same thing every few hundred years ).. the CO2 Levels will correspondingly rise.... NOT the other bloody way round ! it takes approx 40 years for the C02 to start rising after a blast of strong solar energy... but so many bandwagon-jumping buffoons have dived on this b/s and done ZERO research on it for themselves.

I've read loads on all this.....enough to realise that all the research and records can be twisted to prove whatever point you want to make.....BUT....it is interesting to note that governments and big business worldwide denied warming and actively destroyed the careers of those that said otherwise......UNTIL......they worked out a way to make money from it

So yeah.....follow the money
